As a result of the developments in the field of health and technology, understanding the importance of using devices for mobility, self-sufficiency and independency of healthy, disabled and sick people in everyday life, the profession of orthotics/prosthetics has become a needed profession. It is a profession with no employment problem in all parts of the world.
Orthotists/prosthetists can work at universities, government, private and university hospitals, rehabilitation centers, their own, private and public ateliers of orthotics and prosthetics. They can lecture in their field after graduation master’s degree and PhD.
